Well made item. Must be used on a perfectly flat cooking surface. Becareful though, the picture shows three items. I wanted a round one, however, I didn’t read the item description carfully enough and got one square one. My own dumb fault. I am very happy with the square one though. Makes perfect egg sandwiches.

The title says it all. I love a good egg sandwich and this ring is just exactly the right size and shape. But I took away 1 star for the burrs along the bottom edget and the not quite flat shape.
The best way to use it is to start with medium-low heat and just pour in enough beaten egg to coat the bottom and let it firm a bit before adding the rest. That keeps it from seeping out under the edge.

It isn’t Teflon coated and it isn’t quite as square as I would have liked (I had to bend it a little when I first got it in order for it to sit flat). That being said, I gave this product five stars for what it DOES do, it makes a perfect square egg for an egg sandwich on toast. I LOVE egg sandwiches, they remind me of when I went to diners when I was young. It (and oatmeal) was the cheapest thing on the menu and it never failed to satisfy me (in the early 70’s I remember getting an egg sandwich for 15 cents. I feel old).
When you watch my little video review you will see that I use it for other purposes as well as eggs. Since I bought this “square-ring” I have used it several times a week and I plan on getting a few more. If I could I would give it 4 1/2 stars but since Amazon doesn’t allow us to award half stars I will round it up to 5. Thank you!
